Too Faced launched a hugggeeee collab collection with Raelynn called Life Is a Festival TODAY,  Thursday, 2.15! This will be available at Too Faced today and then at Sephora, Ulta, and Macy’s online on the 18th! Okayyyyyy, so are you ready for this? The collection includes La Crème Mystical Effects Lipstick ($22) in the color shifting shades including Unicorn Tears, Angel Tears, Fairy Tears, & Mermaid Tears, a Magic Rainbow Strobing Brush ($34), Life’s a Festival Peace Eye Shadow Palette ($42) with 12 shades in creamy matte, pearl, satin and duo chrome finishes which also includes a Unicorn Tears highlighter. There is also a Unicorn Tears Iridescent Mystical Bronzer ($30), Festival Refresh Mystical Effects Setting Spray ($24), Magic Crystal Transforming Lip Gloss ($19) in four different shades, a Rainbow Strobe Rainbow Effect Highlighter ($30), a Unicorn Horn Mystical Effects Highlighting Stick ($28) & finally, Unicorn Drops Liquid Highlighter.

We are all about the name of this collection – life is SUCH a festival! All the time! We love that! But otherwise, we aren’t all too impressed. Is it just me or is the whole unicorn/rainbow/mermaid thing kind of over? Like, the ship has really sailed. Too Faced is coming in a little late, we’re thinking. Not only that, but we also kind of feel like these types of collections are a bit juvenile, ya know? Almost like kid makeup. Plus, the packaging of the eyeshadow palette looks incredibly bulky – there is SO much extra packaging there! Like, how do you even store this? And the shades…. I can just see this palette collecting dust in makeup collections due to the pure lack of useful, everyday shades. And how do they expect you to be able to use the mirror in there?? It’s so small and oddly shaped it seems as though it would be impractical in use. In other words, we just aren’t keen on this collection as whole. Are you guys still feeling this mystical-themed stuff??
